Dance Day at Century Ballroom!

DANCE DAY 5 hours. 9 styles. Only $15! Registration is now open: https://www.centuryballroom.net/ 10:30am - Check-in begins (in West Hall) We are doing check in early to make sure that everyone can take the first class. If you show up after 11:10 you may or may not get checked in in time to participate in the first lesson. You can check in at any time throughout the day if you are only attending later classes. The check-in desks will move into the hall starting at 11:30am & remain there for the rest of the day. 10:30am The Tin Table opens for Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Pastries, so after you check in, come get some liquid courage and a sugar boost to start the day! 11:30am-4:00pm Workshop fun! -- WORKSHOP SCHEDULE Schedule is subject to change. Please check back closer to the event! 11:10-11:30 Line Dance Warm Up 11:30-12:00 Lindy Hop 12:00-12:30 West Coast Swing 12:30-1:00 Tap 15min Break 1:15-1:45 Argentine Tango 1:45-2:15 Waltz 2:15-2:45 Foxtrot 15min Break 3:00-3:30 Bachata 3:30-4:00 Salsa -- There will be two 15-min breaks. Bring a snack or a PBJ so you can make it through the whole day! Or skip a couple classes to have a longer lunch and then come back for more. *Dance Day is $15, but, like our classes, if you register and pay a week or more in advance you save $5, making it just $10! -- DISCOUNT OFF OCT-NOV CLASS SESSION If you fall in love with one of the styles and decide you want more, you can register for the October-November session at Dance Day. If you register and pay for the October-Noember session at Dance Day, you will receive a discount (effectively making Dance Day free!). This discount only applies on Dance Day. We will have the October-November schedule posted the week prior so you can plan ahead just in case! Registration will be available at the check-in desks from 12pm on. Are you ready? Here are some things to think about for the big day: Please don’t wear colognes or perfumes as some folks are sensitive to this. The Tin Table will be open, though we only will be serving light breakfast snacks until 4pm – so bring food to give you energy throughout the day. You might consider making a reservation at the end of dance day when a Floozy Burger will probably hit the spot! Don’t bring valuables, and less is more, as it will be very crowded. Parking is hard on the hill; consider public transpiration, a ride share, or carpooling.
