Dance in front of the Opera, May 17th (+ free Salsa lesson from 17:00)

Join us for an outdoor social dance event in front of the Opera! Everyone is welcome — whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer. 💃 Salsa • Bachata • Kizomba • Zouk (SBK + Z) 🕓 Event Schedule • Music starts at 16:00 • Free Salsa lesson with Oscar at 17:00 • Social dancing continues until 21:00 — or longer if the weather and speaker batteries allow 😊 🎶 Music Setup From 16:00–17:45: • One speaker for Salsa & Bachata (50%/50%) • One speaker for Kizomba & Zouk (20%/80%) • Separate speaker for the Salsa lesson (100%) From 17:45 onward: • Louder social dance music • Two dance floors/speakers: Salsa & Bachata (50%/50%) Kizomba & Zouk (20%/80%) 🕺 No Partner Needed You do not need to bring a dance partner. Most people come alone, and everyone is encouraged to dance together. 📣 Please Share & Invite Friends This event is completely free and open to everyone, regardless of dance level. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rules & Dance Etiquette ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1️⃣ Ask at least 3 people you have never danced with before for a dance. Ask at least one total beginner for a dance! Let’s make the community more social and inclusive. 2️⃣ Please do not request songs from the DJs during the event. The DJs also want time to dance and enjoy the atmosphere. If you have favorite songs, feel free to send them to the DJs before the event. 3️⃣ Respect different musical tastes. Not every song will be everyone’s favorite — and that’s okay 😊 4️⃣ “No” means “No.” If someone declines a dance, please respect it and simply ask someone else. 5️⃣ Please come in clean clothes and use good hygiene. If you sweat a lot, bringing an extra t-shirt is highly recommended. 6️⃣ Alcohol is not allowed at the Opera. 7️⃣ Bring water — at least 1 liter recommended. Opera will be closed, you will not be able to drink water inside Opera. 8️⃣ Bring snacks or food. The event may last 5 hours or longer. See you at the Opera! 🎶💃🕺 🌦 Weather Information The event depends on the weather forecast and actual conditions. Light or short rain is unlikely to cancel the event. Heavy, long lasting rain that rains for hours ... that will cancel the event for sure.
