Dance in the Park - CANCELLED!

This time Ecstatic Dance with grundstoff & ionstrøm takes place in a space without edges - no walls, no ceiling, no doors - surrounded by birds, trees and daylight! Inspired by this, we want to invite you into a gentle softening of the edges inside and between us as we dance - an invitation to more connection. This doesn’t mean you have to do anything specific. Our intention is to create a space where connection is available, without being forced and where you leave feeling more connected to yourself and others. We believe this is best achieved when we are both authentic and daring. We want to bring attention and curiosity to different ways we can connect through dance. Connection with ourselves, our own power and stillness. With the earth and sky. With the greater essence. With the collective field on the dancefloor, as well as with other individuals. And individual connections can take many forms - from subtle and energetic to direct and physical. Ecstatic Dance remains what it is always intended to be: a safe space for free, nonverbal movement and expression. Interestingly, the term "ecstatic" in its original sense points to the experience of stepping outside our everyday sense of (separate) self and its boundaries. We will frame the DJ set with two short opening workshops to give some inspiration on the theme of connection, and end with a closing circle. Afterwards, you’re warmly invited to bring picnic or just a thermos and stay to hang out. We hope you’ll love it! PROGRAM: 14.45 - Welcome Circle 15.00 - Workshop I: Meet in the gap - an exploration of connection inside and between us on different levels, playing with space, shape and freedom. By grundstoff & ionstrøm 15.30 - Workshop II: Connection - a playful guided dance practice into energetic and physical connections, our bodies suspended between sky and earth. Get inspired by elements of contact improvisation and the amazing spring that surrounds us. We will announce here in the FB event 24 hours before, whether it will take place. If it is cancelled, all pre-purchased tickets will of course be refunded. Kids under 15 dance for free when accompanied by an adult. To keep the dance floor vibe, we ask parents to step off the dancefloor with their child if they fx cry very loud or need to talk. There’s plenty of grass around the dance floor for a little detour. TICKETS: This is a non-profit event, where any surplus goes to the Range of Motion Association.
