Dance Lab 100: Dancing Desires & Boundaries ~ Ecstatic Dance

Join us for this week’s Dance Lab, as we will be joined by special guest facilitator Lorina Manzanita from the Bay Area who will lead a class titled: “Dancing Desires & Boundaries”.. This will be followed by an Ecstatic Dance DJ set with Equanimous, ending with a sound meditation. Because space is limited, we suggest buying your ticket in advance, on this page. . About the class: "Delineating Dance Floor Desires: Dance floors come with a vast array of desires and choices: to get closer or farther, to touch or not, to add some juicy heat or to cool things down and more. This playshop with Lorina Manzanita, Sex & Relationship Coach, is an embodied learning opportunity to help you develop more skill and awareness around how to move with desires and boundaries (both yours and others) with greater ease, connection and grace. Anticipate moving, exploratory, fun and enlightening exercises.” . Dance Lab is a weekly class presented by Ecstatic Dance NYC with the intention of creating a consistent space for us to gather as a community to Dance. It will be lighter version of the monthly Ecstatic Dances; fewer people, a more intimate space and some facilitation to experiment with different ways of expressing ourselves using sound and movement. Each class will have a warm-up class, where we will invite in different teachers from various forms of Dance, movement, singing and other modalities for us to explore and experiment with. From there, we will transition into an Ecstatic Dance with a DJ where we will integrate what we learned during the class into the Dance itself.
