Dance Lab :: Beach Edition :: Far Rockaway

**Tickets for this event are sold out, and we're now at full capacity.** After an incredibly beautiful inaugural summer gathering in Fort Green Park a few weeks ago, Dance Lab returns next Saturday July 10th for a special edition at Far Rockaway Beach. Join us as we dance in the sand, alongside the vast ocean and among new + familiar friends in the community. All are welcome. We'll begin with a warmup class in Transformational Dance with Trinity Schmidt. This will be followed by an Ecstatic Dance DJ set with Omar Aena. Wireless headphones will be provided for the Ecstatic Dance. To conclude, we'll have a closing sound meditation with Nick Demeris. Because a limited number of headphones are available, pre-registration is required. Suggested transportation options include: - Driving: there is lots of free parking right next to the entrance of the beach - Subway is one block away (A train towards Far Rockaway-Mott Av to Beach 36 Street Edgemere) - The NYC Ferry from Wall Street or Sunset Park to Rockaway followed by the FREE ferry shuttle to Beach 35th, - Ride your Bike!
