Dance Lab :: TURNING TIDES :: McCarren Park

Join us on Saturday November 20th for a daytime Dance Lab in McCarren Park!!! We will begin with a warmup class, followed by an Ecstatic Dance and ending with a closing sound meditation. The theme for this gathering is 'Turning Tides'; which is an invitation for us to embody and honor the shifting of seasons and the coming of the winter through movement. Headsets will be provided by RebootNYC, who will follow the Dance Lab by sharing music and the space to dance from 5-8PM. Because headsets are limited, pre-registration is required. Tickets are $20. --- Flow of the event: 2PM: Arrival + warmup music 2:30: Warmup class: Transformational Dance with Trinity Schmidt 3:15: Ecstatic Dance with Omar Aena 4:30: Sound meditation with Sivan Arbel 4:45: Closing circle 5PM: End + launch into Reboot -- Though the weather should be in the 50's and not too cold, bring layers just in case!
