Sunday Smiles for DMP Dance Church Dance Medicine Family! Grand Rising Familia, Sunday Smiley's to you all. It's time to flow with our hometown homies. Join us on Sunday, December 10th as we move our bodies at our new location in Philly, the Lithuanian Music Hall! We are blessed to welcome one of our hometown favorites back to the stage D J Smiley Phace � .•* Smiley Phace was a mild-mannered DJ until one day, while surfing the internet, he uncovered a cache of mind-altering tones which allowed him to explore deeply the Jungles of Perception. There he encountered a pneumonic being composed of pure information which briefly merged with Smiley Phace and revealed an astral fifth-dimensional library of music which he is still listening to today. From this library Smiley Phace concocts an explorative, multicultural world electronic blend of musical genres crafted to deepen the embodiment of dance and movement expression, seeking to combine a sense of the ancient with the modern. ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But first.... LaVina & Haribo have been exploring music as medicine individually for some time, and only recently have they brought their song & sound together to create a melodic journey for the outside world — cue the birth of Intimate Sound. Acoustic, soft, experimental & soulful, this dynamic duo bring their open hearts as an offering of unconditional love, emanating codes of remembrance for the souls who are ready to receive. Both Haribo & LaVina have poured their love into DMP since the first dance in November 2017 here at the Ethical Society. It is a precious gift to have grown alongside this community for the past 6 years, and it is an honor to offer the sound bath as one chapter closes and a new page turns. _____ >> The location that will be hosting our dancing bodies will be The Lithuanian Music Hall... of course in the city of brotherly & sisterly love. We ask that there is no talking on the dance floor and no cameras used during the event. Please respect this as our intention is to offer folks a safe, supportive place to dance, move wiggle and wobble into full self expression. �� �� .�� � Some things to consider bringing: Water bottle, yoga mat, something warm to cover with for the sound healing, acoustic instruments such as drums/rattles, fire and flow toys like hula hoops, juggling balls, and poi. Come whenever you can arrive. If you need to come in late or leave early, this is ok. Kids of all ages are welcome too!! ����� GUIDELINES :: 1. Dance however you wish 2. No talking on the dance floor 3. Respect the space 4. No alcohol, no shoes (unless foot protection is necessary) ������ Come as you are, move as you please... If you are experiencing symptoms, have been exposed to, or have tested positive for covid-19 we will issue you a full refund. 3.
