We have been expanding our community and welcoming in amazing new artist this season, and we are super excited to introduce you all to the newest members of our ever growing family, DJ J Ed and SUNAMI ! .•*º DJ J Ed and SUNAMI are a Philadelphia based music duo offering jubilant rhythms that turn dance floors into revivals. From Virginia and Pennsylvania respectively, both met in the city of Philadelphia and bonded over music and music production. >> DJ J Ed remixes uplifting mantras on big bass and club beats that keep you moving and in love with the dance floor. >> SUNAMI enjoys playing Afro Caribbean, Jazz, and house sounds to create a mood changing, wall dropping and heart opening experience. Warm Up your body with our very own, Haribo .•* Join this beautiful soul in his signature modality :: Move Like Water MLW is a dance floor adventure. We connect with breath, movement, and sound. We notice the ways that our flow sometimes gets blocked. We open the floodgates to release the old stories, ideas, beliefs. We enter into dance floor connection with ourselves and others with more freedom, confidence, presence, and love. Haribo is a king of dance floor dynamics. He’s been moving and grooving with Dance Medicine Philly for the past 5 years - learning about the ways that shadow beliefs/stories can distort and distract the fullest expressions of freedom and love on the dance floor. Haribo lives for deep, intimate, soulful connection, and has dedicated himself to discovering how music and dance can serve this beautiful purpose. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And of course you are invited and encouraged to stay with us til the end around til the end to melt into a restful savasana during the Sound Bath with Sheen Anthony. .... artistically known as CreativelySheen is a 25 year old Multidimensional Creative Being. He is a pastry chef, culinarian, visual artist/painter, poet, crystal jeweler, rapper, vocalist, graphic designer and spiritual healer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He has headlined for Popcorn & Poetry, Gesture Shop, ArtLOVE, and Newports & News. He has also performed at various online and in person open mics such as Busboys & Poets, Vibe Out Wednesdays, and The Poetry Party. He won the Illumination Award 2021 for Most Valuable Player from Expressive Illustrations. He also won the Top Tier Service Award from the Kosmic Nobodies Konvention 2022, went on tour with The Poetry Collective, and also is the founder of CreativelySheen. CreativelySheen curates spaces that facilitate spiritual healing by uplifting, empowering, and affirming our kin. Sheen Anthony identifies as multidimensional creative being because he firmly believes there is nothing we cannot do, be, or have. In order to keep things safe in these uncertain times we ask that you take the necessary health precautions you feel called to take for yourself and respect the choice of others. (If you have felt sick, had a fever or cough, please do not attend.) Masks are welcome if that is appropriate for you, they will not be enforced. Dance Medicine Philly is a drug & alcohol free event. We ask that there is no talking on the dance floor and no cameras used during the event. Please respect this as our intention is to offer folks a safe, supportive place to dance, move wiggle and wobble into full self expression. �� �� .�� � Some things to consider bringing: Water bottle, yoga mat, something warm to cover with for the sound healing, acoustic instruments such as drums/rattles, fire and flow toys like hula hoops, juggling balls, and poi. Come whenever you can arrive. If you need to come in late or leave early, this is ok. Kids of all ages are welcome too!! ����� GUIDELINES :: 1. Dance however you wish 2. No talking on the dance floor 3. Respect the space 4. No alcohol, no shoes (unless foot protection is necessary) ������ Come as you are, move as you please... See ya on the Dance floor! ������ Refund Policies: 1. If the event is canceled due to a covid-19 related issue, we will issue you a full refund for your ticket price. 2. If you are experiencing symptoms, have been exposed to, or have tested positive for covid-19 we will issue you a full refund. 3. If you can not make the event for some reason, you are welcome to sell your ticket to someone else
