Dance of Liberation and Water Blessing

Join us for Dance of Liberation®, Global water healing and sacred ceremony in community with Parashakti and the Gatekeepers. Parashakti will infuse us with the tools and guidance to hold space for a very special evening with her and Dj iNi as they bring community together to activate, heal and recharge our most precious commodity from mother earth: WATER! Dance of LiberationTM (DOL) is a dynamic form of movement therapy, birthed out of the roots of shamanism. It is based on 7 foundations that lead the Dancer on a vision quest – an inner journey of their personal truth. Dance of Liberation heals and frees physical, mental, emotional and spiritual blockages. DOL This transformational ceremony blurs the lines between club culture, dance, yoga, music and internal exploration. Dancers tune in to sound and movement to take an inner journey into a trance/ like state of self-discovery and self-realization. The mystical, inspirational and fun process of reaching this sublime state is facilitated by modern variations in ancient shamanic journeying tools: drumming and the ritualistic use of a blindfold, to help shed inhibitions and heighten inner awareness. Moving in darkness into deeper states of consciousness allows dancers to go on a “vision quest”and closer to their soul’s purpose tapping into a non-linear time and space allowing for the Dance to become a moving meditation. We will let our true selves shine as we dance blindfolded and infuse the water and crystals with our intention and vibration that will then be taken the following day into sacred ceremony, and then Sunday further activated at Move2Change Ecstatic Dance.
