Enjoy the beautiful Kootenay Summer and end the day with Community Dance & Embodiment Medicine Dance Portal is an intentional, family-friendly Ecstatic Dance with free-flow movement & no talking on the dance floor to communicate and express through our body. We are a welcoming, inclusive, consent-driven & non-judgmental container with a ceremonial, sacred emphasis. Dance Portal has alternating local and guest DJ’s that bring a variety of genres, tempos, feelings, peaks and valleys and yin to the yang experience. We always begin with a guided embodiment practice and end with sound healing. About the DJ Duo - Transcend~Dance: Transcend~Dance is a DJ Duo - Amber Wolf Moon & Mossy Tree (Felix Bourbeau) are the founders, creators and resident DJ's of Dance Portal. They live and breathe their devotion and service to their community offerings. It is what they do on the daily. All of their offerings are ceremonial, supportive, embodied and focused around heart connection, the sacred, unity and intentional music. Amber is an Ecstatic Dance DJ & Somatic Therapist that brings in a trauma-informed way of facilitating from the heart that is gentle yet powerful to keep the nervous system regulated/co-regulated where community can feel safe to be their authentic self. She has been devoted to ecstatic dance in the community for the past 5 years and facilitating for the past decade world-wide. Mossy Tree is a passionate DJ & Sound Healer bringing in sounds from around the world and channeling with his many instruments : handpan, didgeridoo, tongue drum, flutes, kalimba and more. He has been DJing for many years offering ecstatic dance consistently and performing at many festivals including regional Burning Man's.
