So much of our dance reflects our inner world – this is where the healing is. We are all dancers with no experience needed. It is in our blood, bones and DNA. Dancing is a remembering and it is the medicine needed to bring us back into our body’s and celebrate life. Ecstatic Dance is about communicating through the body beyond words and the mind with moving the many emotions we feel. This is not a performance. This is an art, an expression of authentic liberation and potent healing. We will deep dive into sacred ceremony, prayer and land honoring throughout the weekend building and co-creating safety, coherence and a special bond like family. Music, plant spirits and the land will be the guides along with Amber Wolf Moon & Felix Bourbeau. Amber & Felix are a power couple dream team that live their devotion and purpose daily serving and supporting community through dance, sound and sacred ceremony. She has been devoted to Ecstatic Dance in the community of Nelson for the past 4 years and facilitating for the past decade world-wide. Amber has a uniqueness that makes it easy to be in her presence and show up in your rawness. She has a fine skill of empowering clients/participants to embody their gifts and purpose. She gets most lit up when leading groups large or small in a ceremonial, somatic way attuning to nature, spirit and plant medicine support. He has been DJing for many years offering ecstatic dances and performing at many wellness festivals including various Regional Burning Man’s. He brings a gentle, yet powerful masculine presence to the co-creations he and Amber offer together. His background with various training of Yoga Teaching, Sound Healing & Cacao Facilitation along with travelling world-wide brings a sense of humble holding where participants feel safe, welcomed and receptive to his potent medicine. His music comes through as a prayer and a pathway to connect to Spirit.
