Amber Wolf Moon Special Mother's Day Edition The powerful Sequoia Henning will offer Sound Healing Family Friendly, Intentional & Free-Flow Movement THIS Sunday May 10th & Every Sunday Morning after 10:20 AM - 12 PM North Shore Hall - 675 Whitmore Road May we honor Mother on this day together through embodied prayer of dance as medicine - whether it be our own blood mother, earth mother, someone who took on the mother role for us or being mother (spirit babies included). Let us dance for Mother in gratitude, wholeness and authentic expression. A reminder the number of people marked as going does not indicate how many will actually be there as we have regulars and a full turn out weekly that don't respond to the fb event. About the DJ: Amber Wolf Moon is the Co-Founder & Resident DJ of Dance Portal Nelson. She brings a howlin' of a wild time to all her offerings including her DJ sets and somatic facilitation. Amber has been offering ecstatic dance journeys in Nelson since moving here 4 years ago. She has also offered and started ecstatic dances in many other places around Canada and in other countries for almost a decade. She continues to uplevel each offering with an emphasis on fun, play, sensuality, embodiment and sacredness. Her background as a Somatic Therapist and Embodiment Guide weaves into how she holds the space through her music journey - attuning and listening to what's needed. Her intention is to activate a shamanic, ceremonial embodied full power expression to ignite the inner fire, embrace fluidity, and feel grounded in our authentic wholeness journeying together in love! Amber's music style is worldly, funky, bouncy, house music oriented, with always coming back to organic sounds. She keeps it fresh with always finding delicious, new tracks from intentional artists around the world. Medicine music, downtempo and organic house are her main specialties with flavours of old classics, disco, and booty poppin' beats.
