Dance Portal - Sunday Morning Ecstatic Dance Family-Friendly, Intentional, Free-Flow Dance THIS Sunday Mar. 15th 10:20 AM - 12 PM North Shore Hall - 675 Whitmore Road (enter at the doors on Whitmore Rd.) A reminder the number of people marked as going does not indicate how many will actually be there as we have regulars and a turn out weekly that don't respond to the fb event. Dance Portal is an intentional, family-friendly Ecstatic Dance with free-flow movement & no talking on the dance floor to communicate and express through our body. We are a welcoming, inclusive, consent-driven & non-judgmental container with a ceremonial, sacred emphasis. Dance Portal has alternating DJ’s that meet the requirements of Ecstatic Dance with a variety of genres, tempos, feelings, peaks and valleys and yin to the yang experience. About this week's DJ: DJ WAVES ~ Mina Palmer plays hypnotic house, indie and techno. She enjoys weaving medicine music with melodic, afro, progressive, organic, trance, minimal and dub. She aims to create a dancefloor atmosphere that is intentional and safe so that experiences of deep emotional journeying & healing can take place.
