Dance Temple ~ Hartford ~ live music by Cosmic Hue

Please join us for a freeform barefoot dance jam! All are welcome. Live music by Cosmic Hue (Kālidāsa Joseph Getter and Craig Norton). Our sounds are meditative, ecstatic, improvised, in a groove, and influenced by many forms of music from around the world. We aim to uplift everyone! Let’s gather in community reclaiming our bodies and moving our energy! Through movement and to live music, we will express ourselves and enliven our cells. We will circle and begin with a warm up lead by various facilitators to get us centered in our bodies. Inspired musical offerings bring us into our bodies to express via movement and dance. You are welcome to dance solo, with a partner, and in groups. A short closing will bless our experience. We are all connected...So let's DANCE! No prior dance experience needed. All ages and physical abilities are welcome. We meet the Second Sunday of every month (except April 2020), 10am - Noon. Location: Tainted Creative Dance Studio Address: 56 Arbor Street, 1st floor, Hartford CT, 06106 Parking: In the parking lot behind the building and on Arbor Street. Attire: Dress comfortably & barefooted, or with indoor dance shoes. Bring: an item to add to the Altar, if you feel called to do so. Sliding Scale $15-$20, Free for children under 12.
