Join us for our Winter Solstice Dance Temple in Squamish! Thursday Dec 21st we have special guest Julie Plotkin from Roberts Creek leading us through a winter solstice 5 Rhythms practice! Julie is passionate about bringing community together through embodied movement. She has a deep commitment to helping people experience joy, connection, and freedom in their bodies through the 5Rhythms® movement practice, as well as a love of facilitating personal transformation and emotional healing on the dance floor. Julie brings a clear, rooted, and grounded energy to her teachings, while at the same time lovingly inviting you to explore your growth edges. She began teaching the 5Rhythms® in 2013 and became a Heartbeat™ teacher in 2022. She says: “When I dance I feel like I have come home. Our ecstatic dance has an especially intimate family vibe. It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Location : Squamish United Church, far right door on 4th Ave. Parking is street parking anywhere along 4th Ave. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is sliding scale $15 - $25 We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
