This week Kara Leah has got a playlist from The Oracle, the DJ persona of @sarshahope, who leads Somatic Dance Trainings. Sarsha delivered an epic set at NZ Spirit Festival a year or so ago... She had the pleasure of dancing in person and experiencing Sarsha's magic on stage. Sarsha has been a dancer and yoga teacher of decades, and brings that love and appreciation of music into her DJing. She has led probably 100s (if not thousands) of ecstatic dances, including what could be the biggest ones in New Zealand. Schedule: 6:50 - 7:00 >>> Arrive, settle, and connect in your own body with movement 7:00 -7:10 >>> Opening circle 7:15 - 8:45 >>> Dance Journey & Savasana 8:45 - 9:00 >>> Closing circle, mingle, and vacate the space It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Location : Squamish United Church, far right door on 4th Ave. Parking is street parking anywhere along 4th Ave. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is $20 We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
