Join us for our weekly Dance Temple in Squamish! Thursday Nov 16th we will be joined by the beautiful DebAura from Vancouver! Deborah is a Counsellor and DJ who channels her passion for grounding people in their bodies and fostering connections, both within themselves and with others, from her daily work to the dancefloor. She is devoted to the unifying power of music by creating a spacious environment for E-motion - Energy in Motion - to flourish. Through her music, Deborah invites you to embark on an introspective journey, encouraging you to rediscover all parts of you compassionately and forge connections with one another on the dancefloor. Born and raised in Germany, her adventurous spirit unfurls in her musical narrative, weaving a sonic tapestry that spans from European Electro and Dubstep to Tribal Rhythms, culminating in the mind-bending world of psychedelic West Coast Bass music. As you join her on this sonic pilgrimage, you'll discover a harmonious blend of the familiar and the innovative. Our ecstatic dance has an especially intimate family vibe. It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Location : Squamish United Church, far right door on 4th Ave. Parking is street parking anywhere along 4th Ave. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is sliding scale $15 - $25 We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
