Join us for our weekly Dance Temple in Squamish! Thursday Nov 30th we have MC Shakti taking us on a juicy sound journey. MC Shakti is the Creatrix of Enliven Festival BC and host of Dance Temple Squamish. Her vibrational soul journeys invite deep self exploration and the freedom to embody your wildness, sensuality and bliss. . Inspired by nature and the wild feminine, her music style ranges from etheric worldly vocals, funky hip shaking beats, organic and tribal instrumentals, to sexy grimy basslines. She is constantly pushing creative and genre-blending boundaries. . Micaela loves creating spaces for people to awaken to their expressive potential and to transmute energetic blocks stuck within the body so we can all rise and thrive in this life. Our ecstatic dance has an especially intimate family vibe. It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Location : Squamish United Church, far right door on 4th Ave. Parking is street parking anywhere along 4th Ave. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is sliding scale $15 - $25 We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
