It's that time again folks! Join me on Sunday for a prayerful morning of delicious beats, sexy grooves, sweaty bodies and open hearts. If you're new to ecstatic dance, it's like taking a night club and putting it in a church. If you're a veteran - thanks for bringing your courageous heart to the dance floor time and time again. Conscious, playful community of dancers. An eclectic array of music to inspire and explore new ways to move your body. Altar space for contemplation, reflection and intention. Natural intoxicant of dance only. Drug and alcohol free. Opening to create group intention. Optional closing circle. Minimal facilitation. You are free to move as you wish. Enjoy your own personal dance or spark up creative movement with others (if there is mutual agreement). Bring a water bottle. Comfortable clothing for movement. Be prepared to sweat. ABOUT RARA: Alex King-Harris is the CEO and Co-Founder of YogiTunes.com, the world's largest and best streaming music service for yoga. He's also known as Rara Avis, who's solo work can be found on Six Degrees Records and at www.raraavismusic.com. He is also formerly of three celebrated projects: Desert Dwellers, Shamans Dream, Liquid Bloom. Rara (as he is affectionately known in many west coast music tribes) is a dedicated master of his craft with over 20 years experience in multi-instrumental live performance and music production with a core focus on where the electronic underground, yoga and ecstatic dance movements collide. He facilitates using his voice, acoustic + electric guitar, native american flute, didgeridoo and laptop to blend sacred, original soundscapes. He will then transition into an expertly curated DJ set designed to invoke the wild dancing spirit in us all.
