Dance to D'Arienzo

4:30-5:30 Workshop One 5:30 - 6 Free Practica 6-7 Workshop Two $30 per workshop or $50 for both. Pre-registration preferred to [email protected] The music of Juan D'Arienzo, El Rey de Compás ( the king of rhythm ) demands a strong and specific interpretation . We will introduce key concepts needed to dance to this orchestra, many of which can be applied to the more rhythmic tangos generally. Figures appropriate to D'Arienzo , and the body attitude and embrace that they require, will make for a high energy and fun class.
