What happens when the island spirit of Orcas Loves Tango meets the joy and play of South Seattle Tango (Daniela & Vivek)? Join us for a weekend of connection, discovery, and joyful learning as we explore the elements that make tango feel alive: partner communication, musicality, technique, and play. *Designed for dancers on the high-beginner to mid-intermediate level*, this seminar weekend focuses on keeping joy at the center while finding more ease and confidence in the dance. *Saturday: “Variety Brings Joy”* - 10am-2pm Seminar 1: Play Within the Walk (1.5 hours) Build trust and ease in the embrace and explore musicality and playful variations within the heart of social tango. Seminar 2: “Play Within the Ocho Cortado” (1.5 hours) Discover creative variations that bring more playfulness and dialogue into your social dancing. Milonga (with performance by Daniela+Vivek) - 8-11 pm *Sunday: “The Joy of Smooth Turning”* - 10 am-2pm Seminar 1: “Joyful Conversation in Ochos” (1.5 hours) Explore how Ochos become a dynamic dialogue and playful exchange between partners.
