Dance Workshop: Dancing to New Orleans Jazz with Ryan Calloway

The first in a series of dance workshops hosted by South Bay Trad Jazz, focused on connecting dance to music! Intermediate/Advanced workshop aimed at helping improve musicality. Ryan Calloway will share his passion for New Orleans jazz with you! Come prepared to learn what makes makes this type of music unique, and to experience creative ways to connect to it. Prerequisites: must be able to swing out, do basic Charleston and feel comfortable mixing 6 & 8 counts.
