DanceMission: a Silent Disco Transmission in the Park

Hello lovely people! Come dance with us at Lakeside park at the inaugural DanceMission event! DanceMission is a new weekly outdoor Ecstatic Dance style series organized by Bernice Raabis and Sami Majadla. It is a silent disco, which means that we will provide you with headphones that will wirelessly connect to a pre-recorded DJ set; a magical music transmission. So you only need to bring water, comfy clothes, and your sweet self—we will take care of the rest. :) 🎉 🥳 The cost is $10 (nobody turned away for a lack of funds). Event begins @ 3pm. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY at the labyrinth (near tennis courts) to pay entrance fee, grab a pair of headphones, get settled, and ready yourself for the first ever DanceMission! For this first event, Bernice Raabis (Dance Church lady) has created a musical journey for our collective enjoyment. Our Mission is to reassemble the Nelson conscious dance community and to begin dancing regularly again. Our first few events will be at Lakeside for ease, and eventually we will find other places to take our DanceMission. Please come and be a part of our community. We miss you, and it's about damn time we all dance together again!
