This material is known in Lambada as Lamba Tres (or Lamba 3). We'll be mainly teaching it on Brazilian Zouk timing, and also giving you the tools to apply it on Lambada timing as well. Over three days, we'll build from the ground up: mindset and foundational concepts, simple and challenging movement patterns, and expressive elements, with practice time woven throughout to help everything sink in. We'll share our best practices and talk about how to keep developing this skill long after the weekend is over. Saturday evening also includes a special partner switching workshop right before the night party, making it a perfect playground to put it all to use. Prerequisites: We recommend at least one year of experience in Brazilian Zouk, Lambada, or both, and familiarity with partner dance fundamentals. The material builds progressively, so the stronger your foundation coming in, the more you'll get out of the weekend. You don't need prior Lambada experience to join - if you know Brazilian Zouk, you already use many of the structures featured in Lambada, so this intensive works well for dancers of either or both. Leaders: $160 Followers: $130 Trios: $360 (Note: partners will rotate throughout the weekend, so those registering as a trio won't be dancing with the same partners the whole time.)
