Day 1/3: Finding Ground in an Uncertain World โ States of Superposition
For me, the core of classical CI training and research was about our relationships to gravity, which makes CI a very empowering resilience practice. Spiritually, this means returning home to the body-earth. However, our current humanity unfortunately has been moving away from the earth sociodigitally at the rapid pace of data and network algorithms. What I want to contribute to our CI culture with the quantum narrative of superposition is about finding grounds within uncertainty and how to embrace this fundamental truth through our body wisdom.
Thursday 16 April
Day 2/3: Centering in an Entangled Chaos โ Navigating Affect and Vulnerability
We are interconnected. In fact, lifefulness is based on interconnection. Our nervous system and cells are co-regulated with the environment and people we surround ourselves with. At this very same place of connection is how we accumulate tension, attachments and perhaps traumas. While moving, voicing and drawing together in different ritual configurations, we will navigate creative expressions of affects and vulnerability. How may we perceive chaos as authenticity and an aesthetic of listening?
Friday 17 April
Day 3/3: Seen and Heard by Spaces โ Co-Witnessing as Critical Creative forces
The intention and attention we place (or not-place) while observing affects the quality of experiences, both of the observer and the observed. We will use the frame of contemplative rituals and performative aspects of CI, together with reflective dialogues as a vehicle for exploring different ways of witnessing and โparticipating.โ Some of the practices that I will share come from a performance research โBlind Ritualsโ developed with a Thai blind dancer Toffee Sophon Tabklong.

Nitipat โOngโ Pholchai (Spine Party Movement) is a dance artist, physicist and educator. His practice lies at the intersectionality of dance, healing, and activism with a focus on communal rituals and emergent collaboration. Ong views life and art as intertwining forces that nourish and inform each other in a becoming flux of his being and environment.
Professionally, Ong has gathered more than 10 years of experience teaching creative physics and improvisational dance in multiple platforms including universities, alternative schools, meditation centers, social activism spaces and international dance festivals. He has enjoyed leading artist communities and giving consultation to teachers/facilitators.
He has choreographed works, curated activities and directed many community-based artistic projects in Thailand and internationally. He has received institutional support from Dance Nucleus (Singapore), MyDance Alliance (Malaysia), Asian Cultural Council, Kelola Foundation (Indonesia), Wanny Angererโs Moving Cultures, Alliance Francaise Bangkok and British Council Thailand.
Among his most influential dance teachers are Kathleen Hermesdorf, Sarah Shelton Mann, Augusta Moore, Lizz Roman, Daiane Lopez Da Silva, Karl Frost and Katie Duck. Since 2015, he has enjoyed collaborating and building a soulful network with many Asia-based dance artists. Since his pioneering work โBlind Ritualsโ with Thai blind dancer Toffee during 2017-2022, he has grown a strong interest in activating collective discourse about art and spiritual accessibility in society. When it comes to the art of dance, it becomes clear to him the saying โsharing is caring.โโ
