ABOUT THE MUSICIANS: Having felt awkward, unable to express herself, and terrified of singing most of her life, Lauren Arrow's purpose through her work as a Vocal Guide, performer, and facilitator is to create an inviting space where those who feel scared or shut down can express themselves & slowly start to peel back the layers of self-judgement, criticism, and shame around their voice. Since her Vocal Awakening in 2012, Lauren has committed herself to exploring and clearing her blocks around expression, which organically morphed into guiding others to do the same. In 2014 she was asked to share her experience around her vocal healing through Women's ExpressSING! Circles, which then led to ProcessSING, her vocal coaching practice dedicated to supporting women to uncover their powerful and authentic voice. Now, Lauren performs and facilitates groups throughout California, inviting all to reclaim their embodied voice through play, somatic exploration, emotional presence and song, and holds ongoing groups and workshops. Her album, "It's Happening!", released in August 2016 and won top-10 album of the year through the Marin Independent Journal, was reviewed by national publications. "A sensational debut album announcing the arrival of a bright new artist on the Bay Area scene" from the Marin IJ and "In every exquisitely crafted song on her debut album you'll be dancing and singing along with her in no time, which is definitely her master plan." by The Shift Network. Her music brings strong reminders of self-love, acceptance, and purpose through messages she wrote to herself during times of doubt, depression, and fear. She also appears on numerous albums from artists like Ila Cantor, Melita Silberstein, Ali Maya, Annie Willis, and more. He studied piano with Tom Turinia, whose teaching lineage traces directly back to Beethoven and Bach. Daniel is also a self-taught singer, guitarist, and harpist, and enjoys creating music freely on the spot, particularly to create joy and playfulness in a space. He was born, raised and homeschooled in a musical family in Fairfax, CA. The qualities of presence and energetic sensitivity behind his music are supported by his work with Living Essence, a spiritual psychology system created by his mentor Scott Hamilton.
