SalsaNow's 8th Anniversary & Danza Duro Special

Please join SalsaNow for 8 Year Anniversary held at the beautiful Ruffian ballroom at Laurel Park. With 2 Instructors, 2 DJs, and dancers coming from Philly and beyond in attendance, it will surely be an exciting fun time! Guest instructor and DJ, Joe Figueroa, of Living in Rhythm is in Maryland for the weekend of SalsaNow's 8th Anniversary bringing us Danza Duro with an intensive look at Latin Dance. This man is made of music, and now bringing the party to YOU! Joe will be teaching 2 workshops in Social Dance tips for Salsa and Bachata dance. Learn how to Lead and Follow everything you see on the dance floor or in videos in one night! Then apply it on the dance floor as you dance to the hottest Salsa Bachata mix. Local dancers will be in the house as will dancers from Philadelphia and DC. It's going to be EPIC! You know when Joe Figueroa is teaching, its going to be a fun and insightful lesson, and when Joe is on the music, the dance floor is packed. Danza Duro Workshops start at 7 pm. Basic Salsa & Bachata class at 9 pm. Dancing at 10 pm until 2 am with DJ Yulio and DJ Joe Figueroa. Danza Duro Workshops: 7 PM Bachata (Sensual Secrets) Int/adv. Bachata pattern involving both turning techniques as well as sensual body movement. Men will learn how to create windows in your social dancing for the ladies to take advantage of. 8 PM-(Salsa Legos) Int/adv. Using the basics in creative ways to make one pattern look like many. 9 PM Beginner Salsa & Bachata with Niss Albaig Danza Duro Workshops are $15 each, or $30 for both workshops including the dance that follows. $10 Dance (includes Beginner Salsa & Bachata class) Bio Joe Figueroa has been a Philadelphia Latin Dance mainstay for almost twenty years.
