SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT - A DARK MILONGA, SAT 21 FEB Have you ever wondered what it feels like to dance in the dark? An unusual chance to really connect with your partner and the music. Back by popular demand and request of our dancers, we last did this in 2019. These events are always a little experimental and require trust and generosity between our dancers - so come ready to be kind and gentle with each other and completely respectful of each other’s space and safety! No flash moves - just connection with your partner and the music. We will gradually dim the light as the evening goes on, dancing in full dark - other than ambient light, and using glowsticks to mark the couples and find each other - for around an hour in the middle from 9pm. If you are attending you MUST arrive before 8:45 as the hard cut off time. We will not be accepting new dancers after this time as everyone must have been present for the safety briefing. After the full dark section we will gradually bring the lighting up, before the evening closes at 11pm. Key Details: £10 entry Warm up from 7:30. Final arrival cut off 8:45 (recommended to come earlier) Please try to attend with a partner. This is not required but the event will work better if lead/follow balanced.
