El Día de los Muertos or 'Day of the Dead' is a Joyful Celebration of Life and Death and is a Mexican holiday that honors the souls of the deceased with food, drink, and celebration. Global Dance Collective and Otherwise is proud to be bringing this iconic celebration back to Townsville, bigger and better than ever. Join us for an evening of performances by some of North Queensland's finest dance, circus and music artists. As well as social dancing, face painting and a chance to visit our 'ofrenda', which guests are welcome to add to. Prizes for best dressed individual and couple. We can't wait to celebrate with you.
