DC Casineros Cuban Dance Social featuring DJ Darwin and Orishabo

On Friday June 20th, DC Casineros Dance Company is partying with DJ Darwin (From Havana village) and hosting their 5th official monthly dance social in Brookland, with DC Casineros community company dancers, and including appetizers and beverages. In the beautiful Edgewood Arts Space, at the corner of 8th St. NE and Monroe St. NE, we will dance the night away to sounds of Son, Songo, Timba, Guaguanco, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Guaracha, and Rumba... There will be a Special Tribute To Son by DC Casineros Dancers, live drummers and group dances The program will be: 8-8:30pm, All levels Afrocuban Rumba class 8:30-12am, Open dancing to a variety of Cuban dance music 10pm- Information presentation by DC Casineros co-directors, and demo by DC Casineros community dancers, Cost $15 (students and seniors pay $10) Or use your Dance Place class card to get in.
