💃 Deep-Dive: Baté Cabelo 🕺 Baté Cabelo — literally "hair hit" — is a figure-8 head movement driven by torsion and rotation through the spine. It's semi-active: the follower plays a role in generating the shape of the movement, and when executed well, the hair sweeps through the air. In the dance it is often used as a musical accent. In this workshop we'll: ✨ Break down the figure-8 path ✨ Explore how torsion and rotation work through the spine ✨ Work on how both roles contribute to building the movement safely and comfortably ✨ Focus on musicality so it feels natural and confident Expect a mix of: 🔄 Drills 🤝 Partner work 🎯 Guided practice Suitable for dancers who know the basics and want to go deeper.
