About this Event
A "Tango Encuentro" is a full weekend of dancing with 180 fellow tango fanatics from around the world. There are no performances and no classes. The emphasis is on close-embrace dancing and traditional social codes of navigation, sensitivity and courtesy. Top DJs are selected for their sensitivity to the passion and energy of the dancers and their love of the famous Golden Era orchestras.
This is an invitation event for experienced tango dancers who love traditional Buenos Aires style social dancing, and are skilled at dancing and navigating in a close embrace on a crowded dance floor.
