Shining Lion - MC, multi-instrumentalist and sound healer “DJing is an opportunity to share the music that has touched my heart, blessed my life and inspired me as an artist and dancer.” The heart beat and positive vibe of Reggae music has uplifted him since he was in utero at one of Bob Marley’s last legendary shows. At 18 Shining Lion traveled to Belem Brasil on the Amazon and was immersed in a culture that embodied Reggae, hip hop and indegenous dance music. With deep ancestry roots in Native American culture, he learned from an early age that song and dance is how people have prayed since the beginning. DevaDance is a sacred movement experience where all forms of dance are welcome. Freeform, contact improv, acro-yoga, meditative, social or private, ballroom, salsa, hip-hop, you name it. This is an ecstatic community dance experience in which everyone is invited to express their authenticity. $10-$20 sliding scale @ the DOOR - All ages welcome - Step out of your mind & into your body...
