Dick Lee's Jammy Piece

This gig is part of our LINDY HOP HEAVENS, every first Friday of the month! Dick Lee's Jammy Piece returns to the Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club! You can look forward to great classic Jazz tunes, played jam-style session. The music will be specifically suitable for dancing Lindy Hop as well as Foxtrot and Jive. The band line-up for the evening is Dick Lee on reeds, Chris Greive on trombone, Phil Adams on guitar, Owen MacDonald on double bass and Dave Swanson on drums. The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away! No need to book in advance, just come along! The entry fee is £15 for non-members and £12 for members. Entry is free for accompanying carers and accompanied children. The fee can be paid at the door by card and cash. The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row. Entrance fee and programme are subject to change.
