Director Park Tango 2016

Welcome to 2016 Director Park Tango! Back by popular demand, this event is FREE and open to the public, offering an wonderful opportunity to learn Argentine Tango and experience live tango music in the beautiful outdoor setting of Director Park. We are bringing together amazing musicians from around Oregon and California to serve up the best collection of tango classics for your dancing and listening pleasure. Dhruv Singh will provide us with fantastic DJed music and the Rita Quartet will provide us with amazing live music! The Rita Quartet will feature Adrian Jost (from San Francisco based Trio Garufa) on bandoneon, Chen-Yun Yang on violin, Allen Regnier on double-bass, and Rita Sabler on piano. A beginning tango lesson will be offered from 6:00-6:45pm by Amy PK and Mike Naus and from 7:00-10:00pm we’ll have open dancing and live tango music.
