DJ Class with Antti Suniala: 1950's Tango

Wersja polska poniżej! :) 1950's Tango - the Good, the Bad, the Ugly For the second time in Łódź, we give you the legendary one-man-band Antti Suniala: an award winning fire circus artist and choreographer, DJ and dancer, as well as organizer of cultural events, ambassador DJ for the TangoVia Buenos Aires organization and the TangoTunes digital tango store. Antti will play for us on Thursday night, and on Saturday give a DJ Class on 1950's tango music for DJs and dancers. The class will comprise a thorough look at recordings from the 1950's from our favorite orchestras as well as the more unknown ones. The best vocal songs and singers, the greatest instrumental tangos, the hard to find valses and killer milongas. Understanding the structures of tango music and development through different time periods and which qualities to look for in finding the perfect 1950's songs to play. Saturday, 30.09.2017, 17:15 - 18:45 YMCA, 4a Moniszki Street, room A Price - 10 eur, paid at the door *** Tango z lat 50. – dobre, złe i brzydkie Po raz drugi będziemy gościć w Łodzi człowieka-orkiestrę: utytułowanego cyrkowca, choreografa, tancerza, organizatora i didżeja, autora bloga "Tanda of the Week", oraz ambasadora organizacji "TangoVia Buenos Aires" i sklepu Tango Tunes - Anttiego Sunialę. Antti zagra dla nas w czwartek wieczorem, a w sobotę poprowadzi warsztaty o muzyce tangowej z lat 50. dla DJów i tancerzy. Na zajęcia złoży się staranny przegląd nagrań naszych ulubionych orkiestr, jak również tych mniej znanych: najlepsze utwory wokalne i śpiewacy, najwspanialsze tanga instrumentalne, niespotykane walce i zabójcze milongi. Będziemy pracować nad zrozumieniem struktury i rozwoju muzyki tangowej w różnych okresach – czego szukać, jeśli chce się zaserwować na milondze najlepsze utwory z lat 50.
