DJ Dance Party + Fast Room + Harvest Moon Mix & Match

7:00 pm: Doors open 7:10-8:10 pm: Intermediate, Audition Level, and Adventure Classes 8:20-9:20 pm: Beginner Lindy Hop and Lindy Hop Fundamental Classes 8:20-9:20 pm: Newcomer Taster Class 9:30-10:30 pm: Fast Room with DJ Stormenta 10:15-10:45 pm: Harvest Moon Mix & Match 9:30-11:30 pm: DJ Dance Party with DJ Collin and DJ Skullysa Newcomer Taster Class (8:20-9:20 pm) All levels are welcome; no dance experience is necessary! Jump-start into partnered dancing and enjoy entry to the social dance afterward to practice your new skills and meet new friends. Fast Room (9:30-10:30 pm) This week, WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music in mind. If you’ve ever been curious about any of these dances, this is your chance to see (and dance) them first hand. DJ Dance Party (9:30-11:30 pm) No partner or experience is required, just show up with comfortable shoes. We would love to dance with you! Harvest Moon Mix & Match (10:15-10:45 pm) It’s a very friendly, supportive, and extremely fun event where dancers are randomly matched to their partners to show their social dance skills with their partner to a variety of music picked by the competition DJ. As such, it truly tests your skills as a social dancer. Masks are optional during the dance. WNH will continue to provide masks and hand sanitizer.
