DJ Dr Jim's 20th Anniversary Cuban Salsa Party!

DJ DR JIM'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY CUBAN SALSA PARTY + FREE CD FOR THE 1ST 100 PEOPLE THROUGH THE DOOR! This summer, I'll be celebrating 20 years as a DJ on the London salsa scene, and to celebrate, we'll be hosting a special anniversary party on Saturday 18th August @ The Phoenix in London's west end, where I'll be playing my medicinal mix of the very finest Afro-Cuban salsa, timba & son for your dancing pleasure! And, as an added bonus, we'll be giving away a special DJ Dr Jim Anniversary CD, featuring a selection of some of my biggest Cuban dance floor hits of the last 20 years, to the first 100 people through the door, so get there early to avoid disappointment! If you've been to any of our previous parties at the Phoenix, you'll know that it's a fantastic venue, just a two minute walk from Oxford Circus 24 hour tube station, with a great dance floor, excellent sound system and reasonably priced drinks (we'll also provide some bar snacks to help keep your energy levels up!). The evening kicks-off with an advanced Cuban salsa, courtesy of the Salsa Caribe team (myself & Susan Hacking), followed by eating, drinking, chatting, and of course, dancing, into the wee small hours.
