You are invited to this creative music and dance experience… No Shoes, No Booze, Just Dance featuring music from: \\\\\\\ DJ Omega /////// Omega is an emerging DJ in Durango, CO. She is a life-long believer in the power of dance music as a force for good and a way to bring people together through sound, body movement, and dance. She is most inspired and influenced by wide ranging genres of House and Techno blended with world music and primal dance, along with hip hop and other modern music genres. Her greatest wish as a DJ is to tell a story with music that takes the listeners on a journey that can help them reset, release, and reconnect. She intends for each set to help the dancers feel at one with themselves, each other, and the universe. ~ music begins at 7pm, so please arrive on time ~ ~ healthful food and drink by Bliss Mob Cafe ~ ~ massage by Amaya Natural Therapeutics ~ ~ free chocolate elixir samples by Sarvaa Superfoods ~ ~ live sound bath by Andrea Hennes to follow dance, at 9:30 ~ Ecstatic Dance is a free form dance party happening every Friday, rooted in the intention of a safe, sacred, and fun experience for all! It is an expressive and accepting atmosphere allowing for deep journeys into self-awareness, spirit, and connections with others. All states of being are welcomed, whether happy, sad, expressive or not...the intention is medicine for all. Altar space is also lovingly offered with the invitation to invoke the sacred within yourself. This is an alcohol-free event with no conversation and no phones on the dance floor.
