He loves people, loves life, loves music, and loves dance. His focus as a DJ is to bring good medicine and to make dancing as fun as possible :) ~ music begins at 7pm, so please arrive on time ~ ~ healthful food and drink by Estrela Cafe ~ ~ massage by Amaya Natural Therapeutics ~ ~ free chocolate elixir samples by Sarvaa Superfoods ~ ~ live gong sound bath by Daniel Pelletier to follow dance, at 9:30 ~ Ecstatic Dance is a free form dance party happening every Friday, rooted in the intention of a safe, sacred, and fun space. It is an accepting, non-judgmental space allowing for deep journeys into self-awareness and connections with others. All states of being are welcomed, whether happy, sad, expressive or not...the intention is medicine for all. Altar space is lovingly offered with the invitation to invoke the sacred within yourself. This is an alcohol-free event with no conversation and no phones on the dance floor. Mid to low volume conversation is welcome in the social café zone. $10 - $25 sliding scale admission all ages ~ children welcome ~ under 13 free admission (children must be supervised and must stay in the dancehall, except for restroom use) Ecstatic Dance is held on Friday, from 7-10 pm at the: VFW Hall 1550 Main Ave. Durango, CO 81301
