Now you want to dive deeper and reach your next level as a DJ. The workshop will focus on Djing with the Traktor Pro software. Pascal & Ben will teach you how to: - Work with loops & cue points - Apply filters & effects - Use the Equalizer - Mix different genres & tempos - Mix in key - Create mashups - Utilise 5 common mixing techniques In this workshop we will teach techniques to make great transitions between tracks. Depending on what is needed on the dance floor, there are different approaches to making your mixing extra smooth, exciting or surprising. Knowing these techniques and being able to apply them will upgrade your djing abilities. Mixing skills are key to building exciting dance journeys with a high level of engagement. Musicians & audiences appreciate his steady, rocking world percussion and transcendental grooves. Since 2010 Pascal organizes Ecstatic Dances in Berlin, where he is also the resident DJ. He accompanies his DJ sets with dynamic live percussion and plays drum-set for live music ecstatic dance journeys. In 2015 Pascal started touring extensively as a DJ and played at festivals and dances in more than 20 countries. He is the co-director of several international Ecstatic Dance Festivals (Germany, India, Portugal, Guatemala) and has supported many Ecstatic Dance organizers & communities with his knowledge and insights of 12 plus years as an Ecstatic Dance DJ and organizer. „I perform as a musician since more than 35 years and I even got into Ecstatic Dance before I was born: While pregnant my mother heard darabuka drummers, so I started ‚dancing‘ inside my mothers womb. This was not only my initiation into drumming but also into Ecstatic Dance—since I was obviously barefoot and did not speak ;) " BEN PAVLIDIS ... is is a songwriter, producer, and also known as the frontman of the Berlin band Ohrbooten, D!E GÄNG and he released his second solo album in June 2022 under his surname PAVLIDIS. On his musical path he developed a deep passion for bass music and in his DJ-Sets, he is defiantly paying homage to the beloved bass frequency . The half Greek half German grew up in west Berlin and the city has always fed him with an eclectic mix of urban ,world, and electronic music. The essence of all his genre is a danceable mix of global bass music. Since 6 years he is part of the world wide growing ecstatic dance community. Co founder of Ecstatic Dance Potsdam and Tanzen3000. He loves to create a wave with different emotional islands and will always serve a mixture of classics tracks and underground music, remixes and of course some of his own productions.
