english above 2 jours d'ateliers DJ avec DJ Anna, à l'occasion du festival Tangopostale. Vous avez l’oreille musicale, et l’envie de proposer votre univers aux danseurs de tango ? Découvrez pendant ce stage les bases du DJing avec une DJ Néo tango de renommée internationale. Quel que soit votre parcours et votre niveau, c’est possible ! Et si ce n’est pas encore le cas, tous les termes ci-dessous n’auront bientôt plus de mystère pour vous… Jeudi 3 juillet • 15h-17h : Anna commencera par une petite introduction pour explorer l’histoire de la musique et son évolution, afin de trouver des parallèles entre le tango argentin traditionnel et le vaste univers musical universel (rien que ça !) : être en mesure de repérer les critères musicaux qui inspirent la danse de tango. Il ne s’agit pas de créer des tandas, mais plutôt de construire une atmosphère qui porte la danse, avec ses variations d’énergies. Nous verrons comment collecter la musique et construire une bibliothèque ordonnée (avec ou sans logiciel de DJ), et se préparer des sets cohérents. • Présentations des principaux softs : • Comment utiliser un lecteur audio, le détecteur de bpm et celui de tonalité • Séquence de travail avec les services de streaming Vendredi 4 juillet • 15h-17h : La seconde journée est dédiée aux techniques de DJ : beatmatching, cross over, utiliser des cues, créer des loops (boucles), mixer, utiliser la pré-écoute, la fonction AutoDJ, quand synchroniser ou ne pas synchroniser…. Puis ce sera la mise en situation avec des exercices pratiques : nous utiliserons le soft avec toutes les compétences et sensibilités acquises ! ✓ Matériel : venir avec votre ordinateur, un casque audio, et télécharger et installer un programme de DJ au préalable : MIXXX par exemple (logiciel gratuit), ou Mediamonkey, Winamp ou tout autre programme si vous en avez déjà un bien en main. ✓ Langue d’enseignement : anglais, traduit en français si besoin 🇬🇧Do you have a flair for music and the desire to bring your own world to tango dancers? Thursday 3 July - 3-5pm : Anna will start with a short introduction to explore the history of music and its evolution, in order to find parallels between traditional Argentine tango and the vast universal musical universe (no less!): being able to spot the musical criteria that inspire tango dancing. It's not a question of creating tandas, but rather of building an atmosphere that carries the dance, with its variations in energy. We will see how to collect music and build an ordered library (with or without DJ software), and prepare coherent sets. - Presentations of the main software packages: - How to use an audio player, the bpm detector and the tone detector. - Working with streaming services Friday 4 July - 3-5pm: The second day is devoted to DJ techniques: beatmatching, cross over, using cues, creating loops, mixing, using pre-listening, the AutoDJ function, when to synchronise and when not to synchronise.... Then it's off to the practical exercises: we'll use the software with all the skills and sensibilities we've acquired! ✓ Equipment: bring your computer, headphones, and download and install a DJ program beforehand: MIXXX for example (free software), or Mediamonkey, Winamp or any other program if you already have one. ✓ Language of instruction: English, translated into French if necessary.
