Double Troubles First Rehearsal

The Double Troubles are kicking off our summer term starting this Wednesday, June 3rd, and we'd love for you to come dance with us! *** WHO WE ARE *** The Double Troubles are an inclusive, beginner-friendly, ambidancetrous* Lindy Hop performance team based in New York City. *everybody leads and follows (like ambidextrous but for dance) *** WHAT'S THE DEAL *** We're starting our summer term! This will be a 12-week rehearsal term starting Wednesday, June 3rd, rehearsing every Wednesday 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, and culminating with a performance in mid/late August. *** WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR *** Anybody and everybody, including absolute beginners! The goal of this group is to make Lindy Hop and ambidancing as inclusive and accessible as possible. No auditions necessary, just show up ready to learn! *** WHAT'S IT COST *** We're able to make it as inexpensive and accessible as possible thanks to funding from the Sw!ng Out Community Fund. Individual dues will be very low, and if cost is at all an issue, we'd encourage you to come and we'll figure it out. *** LOCATION *** Location for today is Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave (between 35th and 36th St), Room 412.
