DRIP! Beyond the "step touch" w Alfie!!!

✨💃🏻🕺🏼DRIP SATURDAY, March 14th, 2026!! ✨We have the amazing Alfie teaching "Beyond the "Step-Touch". In this class we will use a Brazilian Zouk based frame, projection, and weight transfer, as tools to facilitate effective communication as leaders and followers. Every dance is a language with its own vocabulary, grammar and even dialects. In Fusion we communicate and translate across languages to understand and be understood. We will use these to tools to break away from the tyranny of the step-touch and stepping only on quarter notes. We will play with stepping and traveling in half time, tempo and double time, as well as pauses. DOORS 7:00. Class 7:15–8. Dance 8–11. @AWAKENINGS. $15–33 sliding scale.
