Join Artists and attendees of the Festival as we embark on the ultimate Watersports adventure! Must purchase 20.00 Pass on the Eventbrite page to join the lesson but can join us on the beach to hang and work your tan without payment. Board rental fees are paid directly to the rental agents on the beach. 1. First deposit on Eventbrite: http://bit.ly/HawaiiZoukFest2018 Agenda: 2:00 pm Meet at the Duke Kahanamoku statue on famous Waikiki beach! Short History story told by local surfers about the sport of surfing and the significance of the sport in Hawaiian culture. 2:30 pm You will select the board rental at the Beach Kiosk. A. Long Board $20.00- 1 hr. Board rental B. Stand up Paddle $25.00- 1hr Board rental C. Outrigger Canoe rides- 30.00 for 3 waves or 30 min. Short surfing tutorial with Jonathan Troupe on water safety and skills! Full Certified Private Surf lessons available at the Kiosk for an additional cost from Dive Oahu Surf Rentals. 3:00 pm Time to get in the water with your friends and catch your first waves!! 4:00 pm Switch boards or grab some food and then go for round two! If your already tired just dance a little on the beach or lay in the shade or get some sun. 5:00 pm Outrigger canoe rides in the sunset!! Things to Bring: 1. Towel 2. Sunscreen 3. Shades 4.
