It's time, folks!!! EARTHSHAKE August 2024 is upon us! Last month was HOT! You were all CHAMPIONS to continue dancing so hard on the sweaty, dripping-hot dance floor!!! That's why THIS MONTH, we're going to serve up an the chilliest summer cool down possible! ""ICY-HOT"" Aug 2nd, coming to a city near you :) Earthshake :: ICYHOT, Summer Cool Down, August 2nd, 2024 Northampton MA, 25 Main Street, Studio 444 4th floor, 20 bucks, 8 p .m. to midnight. ***Please bring a TOWEL! We love you. Last month was hot! You are heroes and champions for dancing and dancing and sweating all night in July, despite the heat. This month, we're doing everything in our power to offer a 'summer cool down 'dance. Look forward to ice, air conditioning, misters, fans, and all sorts of icy surprises for an icy hot night! DJ Passion Flower and DJ FatherOtter will be taking the helm to deliver an ecstatic night of ecstatic dance. The weather will be cooling off once we hit September and October. So let's fully embrace our final HOT summer dance of 2024. We're looking forward to an awesome final sweaty icy summer night, made even better (and more bearable) with icy surprises. Look forward to all sorts of surprises and plenty of “chill” music in addition to our classic earth-shaking fire! ... Please bring drinking water and a towel! The first two person commit to bringing an extra A/C get in free!!! We'll begin the music at about 8 .15 after a gentle welcoming exercise ***Contact Andrew, Bri, or Leila for work trade opportunities. We have a varieties of work trade roles in exchange for entrance. get them while they're available! If the cost is a prohibitive factor for you but you still want to participate, please contact Andrew. We want you to join us! . Consider bringing healthy snacks, treats, garden harvests or other goodies for our potluck-style abundance table in the lobby. We love to share our overflow with the community! As alwayS: - No shoes on once floor - Keep all talking off the dance floor UNLESS IT IS A SAFEY ISSUE, but YES! PLEASE GROWL, ROAR, SHOUT, SING AND CHANT WHILE YOU DANCE. IT RASIES THE FIRE! AND YES!! ENJOY socializING in the lobby! ... Always practice consent first with yourself, and the others around you. Always ask before entering into someone else's personal bubble at all times on and off the dance floor to help ensure that Earthshake is as safe, nourishing and rewarding for everyone as possible. .. ***Please sign in at the door when you arrive, and sign our waiver before eating the dance :) If this is your first time, find out "welcoming team" for a one-on-one introduction to ecstatic dance (this is a NEW feature we're adding this month!) ... We encourage you to leave cell phones behind but we allow occasional comma artistic comma consensual videography of your friends or the DJ's if you feel inspired. .... We may occasionally have staff with professional cameras or phone collecting tasteful footage of the event to use for promo or artistic videos throughout the year. Check this one out!!!
