East Bay Zouk 3-Week Series by the Rhinestone

An ALL-NEW intensive zouk program has made its way to the Bay Area! √ beginner-friendly fundamentals course √ 9 hours of expert instruction & guided practice √ BART-accessible venue with parking √ 2 free Zouk Monday entries included w/ package Class format will be 2 hours of instruction per week, plus a mandatory practica. You will not be able to attend class unless you have completed the following week. The Schedule: 11/6 - FOUNDATIONS The first class will be an introduction to basic movements that form the building blocks of Brazilian Zouk. We will cover timing, body awareness, and basic steps. 11/13 - FLOW & CONNECTION Using movements from the previous class, we will apply more advanced connection principles to make every move we learn in zouk feel smooth and effortless. 11/20 - ADVANCED BASICS We will build on basic movements with an introduction to head movement, the Holy Grail of zouk. You'll learn to do head movement basics SAFELY, SMOOTHLY, and COMFORTABLY. The Pricing: $40 drop-in 11/6 ONLY (3 hrs).
