Easy Does It - Swing Dance Party

Social Dancing returns to Swing Patrol with this pop-up event. Brought to you by Swing Patrol, Shout! and The Bluebelles. Join us for a Saturday party where everyone is welcome! We'll have swing DJs for hours of social dancing, a bonus lesson/taster, plus performances by Shout! and The Bluebelles. Date: Saturday 13 August 2022 Time: 6.30-10.30pm Location: Dancehouse Carlton Nervous? New to Swing dancing? No worries! Find your feet with our beginner friendly swing dance taster lesson, then join us for a boogie. We also have some nifty tricks up our sleeve for the night, to make hitting the dance floor easier. If you haven't been to a social dance before, then this is the event for you! Don't feel like dancing? Check out the history corner, meet new folk, chat to our friendly troupe members, or just sit back and enjoy the music! Online ticket sales will open soon. Door sales will be available on the night, if not sold out in advance (credit/EFTPOS card only – no cash.) Covid Safety: Swing Patrol continues to adhere to the government recommendation to be up to date and fully vaccinated against Covid-19, to hopefully mitigate serious personal illness. We therefore strongly encourage attendees at all dance activities to consider their vaccination status and the possible risks incurred by exposure to numbers of people in close proximity and physical contact, indoors, unmasked and engaging in aerobic exercise. * DO NOT come to this event if you are unwell, if experiencing any Covid symptoms, if you have been in recent contact with a positive Covid case or are awaiting Covid test results. Likewise, stay at home if you have illness such as colds and flu.
