Easy Does It - Swing Dance Party: Volume 4

After successful Easy Does It events in 2022, we’re back to ease you in to 2023! This beginner-friendly event is brought to you by Swing Patrol, Shout! and The Bluebelles. Join us for a swing dance party where everyone is welcome! We'll have a beginner-friendly taster lesson to help you find your feet, then swing DJs for hours, plus some special performances! Date: Saturday 25 February 2023 Time: Doors open 7:15pm, class 7:30pm, social dancing 8pm-11:30pm Location: The Space (Skydeck), Prahran Nervous? New to swing dancing? No worries! This is the event for you! We have a bunch of tricks up our sleeve for the night, to make hitting the dance floor easier. Our host dancers will be around, keen-as-ever to dance with you, or just have a chat. Online ticket sales open Friday 20 February at 10am. Get your ticket early - all of our previous events sold out weeks in advance! Door sales will be available on the night, if not sold out in advance (credit/EFTPOS card only – no cash.) Bar facilities available, no BYO alcohol. Covid Safety: Swing Patrol continues to adhere to the government recommendation to be up to date and fully vaccinated against Covid-19, to hopefully mitigate serious personal illness. We therefore strongly encourage attendees at all dance activities to consider their vaccination status and the possible risks incurred by exposure to numbers of people in close proximity and physical contact, indoors, unmasked and engaging in aerobic exercise. Masks are welcomed and encouraged. *DO NOT come to this event if you are unwell, if experiencing any Covid symptoms, if you have been in recent contact with a positive Covid case or are awaiting Covid test results. Likewise, stay at home if you have illness such as colds and flu. A refund will be available if you need to cancel due to illness/Covid Safety, as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 5pm on the day of the event.
