Comprised of Madison Ryley on harmonium and vocals, VJ Bala on guitar and vocals, while often featuring multiple percussionists and other musical highlights like cello and flute. Velvet Om weaves together soulful sounds and healing vibrations. Over the past three years, they have graced festivals like Earthbeat (Previously Coming Home Festival) and Bumi festival. They have hosted kirtans across Toronto and its northern regions, creating a vibrant community around their music. As a newly formed band, Velvet Om is driven by a passion for medicine music and the belief that all music is healing.
